But you’re probably wondering if YOU can do it? There are a few things you need to consider or do here:

• Be in touch with your true motivation – make sure you are passionate about people, the products, the opportunity, and the marketing activities you’ll need to do to become successful (it’s definitely not just about the money!). 1. Once you decide to join, you need to treat it like a business. Know that it’s not a get-rich-quick scheme – you need to educate yourself and work hard, you need to plan and schedule each business day, and you need an effective marketing strategy. Not everyone has the knowledge, skills or patience to do this, so some people fail before they even begin. But with initiative, training and compulsion, you can do it – and there are many extremely successful Network Marketers, so success is very possible for you too.

2. You need to be a good manager, recruiter and motivator of the distributors/reps in your team, who make up the levels below you in the multi-level structure. This is because your multiple streams of income will come from their efforts, so it’s worth it to you to be a good leader and teacher (or learn to be one). You also need to refine your skills at spotting, recruiting and training other leaders below you, so that your work and efforts are shared effectively across your team, rather than all focussed or completely dependent on you. The good news is that these skills can be learned.
